The Arkansas Occupational Therapy Association (AROTA) is a statewide professional community dedicated to advancing occupational therapy practice, education, and advocacy. We bring together occupational therapy practitioners and students to share knowledge, support each other, and strengthen the impact of OT across Arkansas.

Mission

The mission of the Arkansas Occupational Therapy Association is to serve our members and promote the practice of occupational therapy in Arkansas. We strive to improve recognition of the benefits occupational therapy can offer our community and we support our members through opportunities for education, leadership development, and professional networking. Through strategic engagement and collaboration, we promote client-centered, occupation-based practice to strengthen each individual’s professional identity and the profession of occupational therapy as a whole.
